When I first started in this business I was instructed to create a list of family friends and meet people on the street. Nothing wrong with those strategies and I encourage people to talk to people as they meet them concerning their business. But obviously the most successful network marketers are definitely not relying on friends or family or meeting people in the street. They all put a number of different advertising campaigns in play to support their lead generation goals. So here are some guidelines to picking a successful strategy.

1. When a successful person is recommending a particular technique...its because it works. Nevertheless you need to make certain the strategy is right for you. There are strategies to choose from both online and offline so don't get pigeoned holed into assuming you need to do this one or that one.
