Probably the most significant class in Team Fortress 2 is the support classes. Supporting the scouts, you'll find this class all over the map. Support also keep the heavy stocked and ready.
The medic is a part of TF2 that Counterstrike Source game servers don't have. The medic's primary weapon is the syringe launcher. His secondary weapon is the medi gun. Finally, his melee weapon is the bone saw.
The main responsibility of the medic on Team Fortress 2 game servers is to heal. You will therefore find any good medic right on the front line, supporting the scouts and soldiers. While healing is their main job, staying out the firing line is also important. His weapons mediocre, so the medic should stick to healing and use his weapons as a last resort. By shooting an ally with the medi gun, the medic will receive a bonus of 150% on his own health. However, once the medic stops healing, the friend's health will return to normal. Known as over healing, the charge bar will over fill and make the medic and his ally invulnerable for 10 seconds. Think how effective this is for a heavy when he can attack an enemy base for a prolonged period. If you like looking after your friends on Team Fortress 2 servers, then the medic is the best choice for you.
The sniper rifle is the sniper's main weapon (surprise surprise!). The sub machine gun is his secondary weapon. For melee, he uses a machete. The sniper will take you out from long range if you stay still for too long. The sniper is for people who love to hang back and like to take their targets out without having to engage in a full on fire fight. To be successful you need to find the out of site hard to find areas. You can take down targets in scores once you have found a good hiding spot. Taking out medic that is supporting the heavy is also a good tactic. It is even better as it allows the rest of your guys who are on the ground to take him down and advance up the map. The longer you stay scoped in on your target the more powerful the shot is. This is indicated by an expanding laser scope. On the downside, don't expect to be able to pick off targets at close range with this weapon.
Using a cloak to blend and disguise himself, the spy is a little like James Bond on Team Fortress 2 servers. He can take out his enemies in one movement with the butterfly knife. The butterfly knife allows him to take out enemies in one quick swoop. However, be aware this move isn't instant. If you move out of range you can be spotted. Your disguise will be revealed if you use anything other than the sapper. The electro sapper will slowly drain the health of engineer's buildings before destroying them. Thus it is best to place the sapper and then take out the engineer as the sapper can be removed with just two whacks of the engineers wrench. Don't forget that if you can see the disguise on a spy, he's friendly. If you fancy yourself as James Bond, the spy is worth a look.
